Your Salon Website
Every salon gets a ready-made website at its own address — here's what it shows and how to customise it.
Every salon on the platform comes with its own website, live the moment you turn it on — no setup from scratch required.
Your included address
Your website is reachable at:
<your-handler>.salonsaas.orgwhere <your-handler> is the short name tied to your salon. This address always works, even if you later connect your own domain (like www.yoursalon.com) — see Connecting your own domain.
To see your site, go to the Website page in your admin dashboard and click Preview site at the top, or View live page inside the design panel.
Choosing how your website looks to visitors
On the Website page, you'll see a few presentation styles to choose from:
Static Website — a clean, ready-made page that shows your services and prices, your team, your opening hours, and your contact details. You can customise its colours, fonts and branding.
AI Receptionist — instead of (or alongside) the static page, visitors can chat with an AI assistant that acts like a front-desk receptionist: answering questions and guiding visitors toward booking. See The AI chat assistant for details on what it can do.
Contact Us (bespoke) — if you'd like something fully custom-built beyond templates, you can share your requirements here and the team will follow up to design and build it for you.
Pick the style that fits you, then click Open & Customise to open the design panel for that style.
Switching styles doesn't erase your information — your services, team, hours and contact details always come from the rest of your salon's admin pages. The website style only changes how that information is presented to visitors.
Customising colours, fonts and branding
The design panel opens automatically on the right of your screen (or slides up from the bottom on a phone) when you preview your site, and is titled Website Design for the Static Website style, or Chat Window Design for the AI Receptionist style. You can show or hide it at any time with the Design button in the dark bar at the top of the preview.
What you can set depends on which style you picked:
Static Website — under Hero Section: Background, Text Color, and Accent / CTA (the colour used for buttons and highlights). Next to the text colour there's a button that reads either Text contrast looks great or Auto-fix text contrast for this background — click it to let the panel automatically pick a readable text colour for whatever background you chose. Under Branding: Logo Background. Under Header & Footer: Header Background and Footer Background.
AI Receptionist — under Colours: Page Background, Chat Background, Accent Color, and Avatar Color (the colour behind your receptionist's avatar badge). Under Layout, choose between two cards: Fullscreen ("Fills the screen") or Windowed ("Centered card") — this controls whether the chat opens as a small centered window or takes over the whole screen for visitors.
Every colour has its own small square swatch you click to open a colour picker (a grid of preset swatches, a hex code box you can type into directly, or a full colour wheel), and its own Undo link that appears once you've changed it, to step back to the previous value.
Whichever style you're on, you'll also find a Font field: click it to open a dropdown with a search box and category filters (All, Sans Serif, Serif, Display, Handwriting, Monospace). It first lists a short Curated set of presets, then All Google Fonts — type to search across all of them.
If you want to start over, click Reset to defaults near the bottom of the panel — this resets only the colours, font and layout; it never changes which website style (Static Website, AI Receptionist, etc.) you have selected.
These colours and fonts are shared between styles, so your whole online presence stays consistent. Nothing is saved until you click Save Changes at the bottom of the panel — once you do, it is applied immediately to your live customer-facing website.
Match with AI — instant theme suggestions
If you're not sure where to start with colours and fonts, open the Match with AI section near the top of the design panel. Optionally type a Style (optional) — a short word or phrase for the mood you're going for, e.g. "luxury, minimal, bold barber" — then click Suggest matching design (it reads Suggest again once you've already asked once). You don't need to type your salon's name or your services yourself — the panel already knows them and sends them along automatically so the suggestions fit your salon.
This generates up to three complete, coordinated designs. Each one appears as a small preview card showing a mini header, hero banner (with your salon's initial as a logo badge) and footer in that palette's colours, plus the font name and a short line explaining the mood. Click any card to preview that design live on your actual page. If you change your mind, click Undo (next to the Match with AI heading) to go back to what you had before you started picking suggestions. As with any design change, nothing is saved until you click Save Changes.
Fix with AI — polishing your written text
Wherever you write descriptions for services, products, brands or categories, or a staff bio, you'll find a Fix with AI button in the lower-right corner of that text field. Click it and the assistant will offer three rewritten versions of what you typed:
- Polished — a cleaned-up version of your original wording
- Friendly — a warmer, more conversational tone
- Concise — a shorter version that keeps the key facts
Click between the three to preview each one, then Use this text to apply your favourite to the field — or Dismiss to keep what you originally wrote. Using a suggestion only updates the draft in the form; you still need to save that page as usual (e.g. the service, product or staff profile) for it to take effect. If you edit the text afterwards, the suggestions are cleared and you'd need to click Fix with AI again.
Both Match with AI and Fix with AI only ever suggest — nothing is saved automatically. You always review and explicitly save or apply before anything changes on your live website.
